Well, that's the thing about self-discovery. It seems that just as you've got some good art of how you see yourSelf, something changes. Commence new art!

I think that it's also a good thing to have artwork of the things that have since changed. The pieces end up acting like photographs of how you've evolved along the way. They also act as a reminder whenever you're feeling stuck that you can look back on and see how far you've come - both in artistic style and as a person as well.

This is true! I always keep my art, just don't always like others seeing it. XD

I have to wonder if this kind of thing comes in waves or whatever, because when I first Awakened, I was constantly discovering new things, changing names, changing what my form looked like... hell, even changing my true form's sex.  But now, it's pretty stable.  With the exception of the updated version of my wings that I made a few months ago, my true form pretty much looks the same as she has for around four years now.

Hahaha, I went from thinking I was a wolf therian to, well, what I have now. XD It's been relatively stable lately, aside from minor changes, such as the nose.

It's kind of annoying, lol
Every time I've done some awesome artwork that I'm proud of, something changes and I have to redo it all over again XD

I bet and that does become annoying though for me I still don't know much about my species other then with what I have found.  Finding answers about your kintype is really frustrating and it doesn't make sense with what you already know.
